A life long dream of owning bees has come true. Jim, a US Army veteran, started with someone else bringing their bees to the farm. In 2023 he started his own apiary, and is now 8 hives strong.His goal is to be about 20 hives by the time he retires from his full time job.

The other half to Haas' Happy Hives. Michelle is the bee whisperer. Michelle works through all the things: design, technology and marketing. The bee yard is her peaceful spot after a day in her full time job as a middle school assistant principal.
